1. Introduction

Welcome to Reel Counter, a digital wellbeing application developed and published by AppZyro. These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Reel Counter mobile application, its free and paid features, subscriptions, advertisements, and related services.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Reel Counter, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the application.

2. About Reel Counter

Reel Counter helps users monitor their short-form video viewing habits, set daily viewing limits, receive usage reminders, and manage screen-time-related goals.

Depending on the user’s selected plan and supported device functionality, the application may provide:

• Instagram Reels counting.
• YouTube Shorts counting.
• Facebook Reels counting for eligible Professional users.
• TikTok counting for eligible Professional users.
• Daily viewing limits and usage reminders.
• Historical analytics and usage comparisons.
• Focus sessions and personal goals.
• Optional advertisement-free access.

Tracking accuracy may vary depending on Android versions, accessibility permissions, third-party application interfaces, device settings, and technical limitations. Reel Counter does not guarantee detection of every short video.

3. Eligibility

You must comply with applicable laws and the age requirements of Google Play and your country when using the application. If you are a minor, you should use the application with the permission or supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required.

4. Free Basic Plan

Reel Counter offers a free Basic version with supported essential features.

• Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts tracking.
• Basic daily limits and usage information.
• Advertisements where applicable.
• Optional paid upgrades.

Facebook Reels, TikTok tracking, and designated Professional features require valid Professional access.

5. Basic Ad-Free Subscription

Reel Counter offers an optional Basic Ad-Free subscription.

India Price: ₹39 per month.

This subscription removes eligible advertisements from the Basic experience while the subscription remains active.

Important: Basic Ad-Free does not unlock Professional Mode, Facebook Reels tracking, TikTok tracking, Professional analytics, or other Professional-only features.

The final subscription price, currency, billing period, and applicable taxes are displayed in the official Google Play purchase screen before payment.

6. Professional Plans

Reel Counter may offer the following Professional purchase options in India:

Professional access may include supported advanced tracking, analytics, focus tools, goals, and advertisement-free access.

Prices and plan availability may differ by country and may change for future purchases. The price shown by Google Play at checkout is authoritative.

7. Subscription Billing and Automatic Renewal

Monthly and yearly subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
• Google Play charges the payment method associated with your Google account.
• Renewal frequency depends on your selected billing plan.
• Cancellation generally stops future renewals rather than immediately ending an already paid billing period.
• Subscription benefits normally remain available until the end of the paid entitlement period, subject to applicable Google Play rules.
• Deleting or uninstalling the application does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Any free trial, introductory offer, discount, or special billing arrangement applies only if explicitly displayed in Google Play before purchase.

8. How to Cancel a Subscription

You may manage or cancel an active subscription through Google Play.

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Tap your profile icon.
3. Open Payments & subscriptions.
4. Select Subscriptions.
5. Choose Reel Counter.
6. Select Cancel subscription and follow the instructions.

9. Refund Policy

Purchases processed through Google Play are subject to applicable Google Play refund policies and consumer protection laws.

Refund eligibility may depend on the purchase type, transaction circumstances, country, and applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Lifetime Professional Purchase

The Professional Lifetime option is a one-time purchase and does not automatically renew.

Lifetime refers to access to the purchased Professional features for the supported operational lifetime of the Reel Counter application or service, subject to applicable law, technical availability, and these Terms.

Lifetime access does not guarantee that the application, third-party integrations, or every feature will remain available indefinitely.

Eligible purchases may be restored using the same Google account through which they were originally completed.

11. Activation Codes

Reel Counter may provide activation codes through authorized promotional or distribution channels.

Activation codes are exclusively intended to enable Basic Ad-Free access according to the conditions attached to each valid code.

Activation codes do not unlock:

• Professional Monthly or Yearly subscriptions.
• Professional Lifetime access.
• Facebook Reels or TikTok Professional tracking.
• Professional-only analytics, focus, or goal features.

Activation codes may be subject to validity periods, eligibility restrictions, and anti-abuse checks. Codes obtained fraudulently or used in violation of their stated conditions may be rejected or deactivated where permitted by law.

12. Rewarded Advertisements and Temporary Access

Reel Counter may allow users to voluntarily watch rewarded advertisements to receive temporary benefits.

Depending on the available feature:

• Two successfully completed rewarded advertisements may provide a temporary Basic benefit for 24 hours.
• Two successfully completed rewarded advertisements may provide temporary Professional access for six hours.

Rewards are granted only after successful verification of the advertisement reward event.

Failed, interrupted, or unavailable advertisements do not guarantee a reward.

Temporary access automatically expires at the end of its specified duration. Reward availability depends on advertising inventory, eligibility, and technical conditions.

Temporary rewarded access does not create a paid subscription or permanent entitlement.

13. Accessibility Service Permission

Reel Counter uses the Android Accessibility Service to detect relevant interface changes and scrolling events in supported short-video applications for digital wellbeing tracking.

This permission may help the application:

• Identify supported short-video viewing activity.
• Count eligible Reels or Shorts.
• Monitor user-selected limits.
• Provide usage notifications or supported blocking-related functionality.

Accessibility permission must be enabled manually through Android Settings. Users may disable it at any time.

Disabling Accessibility permission may stop or limit tracking and related features.

Reel Counter is not an accessibility tool designed primarily to assist users with disabilities.

Use of Accessibility Service is subject to the application’s separate in-app disclosure, consent flow, and Privacy Policy.

14. Privacy and Data Handling

Reel Counter is designed to maintain local usage counts, preferences, and relevant digital wellbeing information on the user’s device.

Third-party services such as Google Play Billing and Google AdMob may process information necessary to provide payments, advertisements, fraud prevention, and related functionality under their respective policies.

15. Third-Party Applications

Reel Counter is an independent application and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially endorsed by Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Meta, ByteDance, or Google.

Third-party application names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Changes made by third-party platforms may affect Reel Counter’s ability to detect or track short-video activity.

16. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

• Use the application for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt to bypass payment or entitlement verification.
• Fraudulently obtain or distribute activation codes.
• Interfere with the application’s security or operation.
• Reverse engineer or redistribute protected components except where permitted by applicable law.
• Misuse advertisements, rewards, or purchase systems.

17. Availability and Service Changes

We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue application features for security, compatibility, legal compliance, technical maintenance, or product development.

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes where appropriate.

Some features may be temporarily unavailable due to device restrictions, operating system changes, third-party application updates, internet connectivity, or service interruptions.

18. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Reel Counter is intended as a personal digital wellbeing and self-monitoring tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.

The application is provided on an “as available” basis, subject to applicable law.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete counting accuracy, or compatibility with every Android device or third-party application.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AppZyro is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from technical interruptions or inaccurate usage estimates.

Nothing in this section excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions to reflect application updates, legal requirements, or changes to our services.

Updated Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.

Continued use of the application after applicable changes take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

20. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of India, without limiting mandatory consumer rights available in other jurisdictions.
